Theme-Tas-Stitch February 2017

It's time for the very first Theme-Tas-Stitch check-in!

Theme-tas-stitch

Theme-Tas-Stitch is the brainchild of Kerry at Ramblings of a Biscornu Addict, check out more information here. There are 11 of us signed up so far, together with our lovely hostess. Each month has a theme and for February the theme was...

Focus Finish February -
Is there a WIP in your stash that you would love to get finished - then focus on a finish in February!
Well I was hoping for a finish in time for today's check-in date, but it hasn't happened. However I'm sure I will have finished this before month end!

Here it was at the end of January, 5 blocks complete, 4 to go...

And here it is now - so close!

Frosty Forest by CCN
Stitched on 32 count pale grey linen
With recommended DMC, GAST, WDW and CC threads
Started 1 February 2014

As you can see I am now stitching the final block on the bottom left hand corner.  I'll be back hopefully before the month end with a finish and some close-up photos to share!

Thank you Kerry for hosting Theme-Tas-Stitch and giving me the kick up the **** I needed to get this project finished!

Until next time

Justine

I have some of these charts and was going to stitch them individually but i keep seeing them stitched on one piece and I quite like them like that now.

Ooo, that is so lovely! I only own one of those patterns (the one with the squirrel, of course), but they look wonderful all together. You will have it done soon, no doubt!

Thanks Maggie. I think they would look lovely stitched as separate ornaments.

Your project is very wintery and a little whimsical. It's quite attractive. Can't wait to see it done. How terrific that you can get motivation when you need it.
